The author

Clara Gavilán is an illustrator, creator, and researcher of illustrated books. Originally from Niterói, she graduated in Design from PUC Rio and later specialized in illustration and comics, as well as illustration for children's and youth publications in Spain. She is also a specialist in children's books through A Casa Tombada, where she is the founder and coordinator of the postgraduate program in Illustrated Book Creation.
