Estevão Azevedo
I was born and took my first steps by the sea, in Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, and moved to São Paulo, a city with no horizon, when I was still very young. I never learned how to swim. Perhaps that's why I decided to bring, in this story, the creatures that inhabit the oceans closer to me, into the city. Writers need to be like children: to believe that everything the imagination can conceive is real, including a world where human presence is less harmful.

Vitor Bellicanta
I was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro. Since I was a child, I’ve always been to the beach. I’ve swum, dived, surfed, sailed, and been fascinated countless times by this vastness that, just by looking at it, captivates me. Submersos is a tribute to so many gifts I've received and continue to receive from the ocean. I’m grateful for Estevão Azevedo’s invitation to help build this fun story.
