Book published with the support of ACNUR (UNHCR in Brazil) - UN agency for refugees.

“What would it be like for a child to cross oceans and borders alone?”

This is what Amal - and the Most Important Journey of Her Life, this surprising book, asks young readers to imagine. For some children, an unthinkable possibility.
For hundreds of thousands of unaccompanied refugee minors, a tough reality.
Written by journalist Carolina Montenegro and with a visual narrative created by Renato Moriconi, Amal is a book that pays homage to refugee kids.
