“Sometimes, it is we adults who are startled by just how far children’s imaginations can roam, to that strange place where fear and laughter meet.”

Odilon Moraes

This book by Rosinha comes as a surprise.

It starts with its biting humor, something not typical of her work. The book is so distinct that, even at the time of its release, it was no longer new: it is the first commercial edition of a work born from the persistent and unsettling questions raised by her son Artur when he was thirteen. Questions that Rosinha captured precisely in the book's title.
