The authors

Nurit Bensusan is a biologist with postgraduate studies in the history, sociology, and philosophy of science. More than that, she defines herself as a "former human" due to her disillusionment with the damage humans have inflicted upon nature. She currently divides her time between work in public policy and science communication. She also writes books and creates games with biological themes.

 

Mariana Zanetti is an architect by training and has been working as a book author and illustrator for over 20 years. She has published more than 30 titles and received major awards, such as selection for the Bratislava Illustration Biennale and the Jabuti Award.
